Privacy policy
Short version: we keep your email address, your watchlist and your email settings so the site works. We don't sell your data. The free site shows ads from Google, which uses cookies to show and measure them (see Ads below).
What we collect
If you create an account: your email address, when you signed up and last signed in, your watchlist, your email settings, and your plan. If you subscribe to Pro, we also keep the customer and subscription numbers Lemon Squeezy gives us, so we know your plan is paid.
If you join the Pro waitlist: your email address.
If you report an error: your message, the contact details you choose to add, and your IP address (to stop spam).
Everyone: our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and to fix problems.
What we don't collect
We never see or store your card details; Lemon Squeezy handles payments. We don't run our own analytics or tracking scripts.
Cookies and browser storage
One cookie keeps you signed in. It is only for sign-in and lasts up to 30 days. Your starred stocks, the tab you last viewed, and light or dark mode are saved in your own browser, not on our servers. Google's ad cookies are described below.
Ads
Free pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad Settings or learn more at aboutads.info. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site, and only what each one needs:
- Lemon Squeezy takes Pro payments as merchant of record. Their privacy policy covers what you give them at checkout.
- Our email provider sends sign-in links, alerts and reports to your address.
- Railway hosts the site and its database.
- Google AdSense serves the ads on free pages (see Ads above).
- Anthropic writes the AI summaries. We send it the text of public SEC filings only, never your personal data.
We don't sell your data. Apart from Google's ad cookies, nothing about you is shared for advertising.
Emails
We only send the emails you turn on. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change them anytime on your account page.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data while your account is open. To see or delete it, email us from the address on your account and we'll do it within 30 days. Payment records stay with Lemon Squeezy, as tax law requires.
Children
Filing Radar isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.
